Shaun Mark Bean naci? en Sheffield el 17 de abril de 1959 y dej? la escuela en 1975 sin tener mucha idea de lo que quer?a hacer.

Trabaj? con su padre en una empresa desoldadura antes de estudiar interpretaci?n en el RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts), de Londres, y apareci? en varias producciones teatrales antes de debutar en el cine con "Winter Flight".

Bean se ha hecho internacionalmente conocido por su papel de Boromir en la exitosa "El se?or de los anillos" y, en la actualidad, hace teatro al tiempo que trabaja en la televisi?n brit?nica y sigue apareciendo en algunas producciones norteamericanas.

Sean es padre de tres hijas de dos de sus tres ex mujeres.

Gran entusiasta del f?tbol es seguidor del Sheffield United y no se pierde uno de sus partidos est? donde est? (!aunque tenga que seguirlos por tel?fono!).
